This means that all advice and services are provided under Quilter Financial Services Limited’s regulatory permissions. Depending on the type of business conducted, clients may be eligible for protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

Yes. Existing clients can log in to the Quilter Customer Centre to view their portfolios, statements, and transaction history. We also offer video and telephone consultations for clients across the UK, and meet in person at our Covent Garden office when preferred.
Advice is conducted in the UK, and the firm does not have permission to give advice when either you or your adviser is located outside the UK.
Do you offer an ongoing service, and what does it include?
Yes, where appropriate. The ongoing service typically includes an annual progress check meeting, a consolidated annual report, fund switch recommendations where suitable, administrative support, and ongoing access to your adviser. Optional support can include extra meetings, withdrawals support (once per tax year), top-ups, and cashflow modelling.
What happens during an initial consultation?
In the initial consultation, we will discuss your financial goals, review your current situation, and determine how we can best support your wealth management needs. It’s an opportunity for us to understand each other better.
What is your fee structure?
We typically work on a fee-based model tailored to your circumstances and the scope of our advisory relationship. We discuss all charges transparently before engagement and provide clear documentation of our fees and services. There are no hidden costs or commission-driven recommendations.
Do you handle client money?
No. AK Private Wealth does not handle client money and does not accept cash. Fees are typically paid by bank transfer (or, where available, facilitated via product/platform charging).
Is your advice independent?
No. We provide restricted advice, meaning recommendations are made from a curated panel of approved providers. We typically consider solutions on Quilter’s platform first, and may also recommend Quilter Investors or Quilter Cheviot where suitable.
